Val-Pak V20-208 WhisperFlo Seal Plate

The Val-Pak V20-208 Whisperflo Seal Plate 074564 is a replacement part that fits Whisperflo Pumps After 06/94 or OEM 074564. This seal plate is made with durable plastic material and has an Almond color. This part bolts onto the motor and seals up the shaft. Its specifications include a Volute to Seal Plate Mounting Type of 6 Bolts, a Seal Plate to Motor Mounting Type of Square Flange, a Seal Plate to Motor Hole Spacing of 5-1/16 inches, and an Impeller Space Diameter of 5-7/16 inches.

Established in 1979, Val-Pak Products was founded by pool service professional who became frustrated when a large pump manufacturer stopped making a widely used repair part. Unable to obtain the copper liner he needed to perform pump repairs, Ben Solakian decided to manufacture the part himself. In his garage workshop in Van Nuys, California, he started to turn out the liners and sell them through a local wholesale distributor. A cast-iron adapter for the same line of pumps was added shortly thereafter as the original manufacturer stopped making them.
