It maybe necessary to splash the products with pool water to bring the seating surface temperature down to a comfortable level prior to use.

• Optional Risers to Increase Seat Height: Raising the seat height is not an afterthought in this design. Optional 4″, 8″, and 12″ Risers are designed to integrate into the overall design of Shayz. The user can purchase risers so they can tune Shayz to a height that is within their desired range. Some users want to be submerged, while others want to sit above the water. Plus, when Risers are added they do not change the seating angles of Shayz.
• Stackable: When not in use Shayz can be stacked for storage. Note: the optional Risers must be removed from Shayz to enable stacking. However, the optional Risers are also stackable once removed from Shayz.

Maximum Pool Depths with and without the Optional Risers:

• Shayz without Risers: 1.8″ seat height and works up to a 5″ maximum depth.
• Shayz with Optional 4″ Risers: 5.8″ seat height and works up to a 9″ maximum depth.
• Shayz with Optional 8″ Risers: 9.8″ seat height and works up to a 13″ maximum depth.
• Shayz with Optional 12″ Risers: 13.8” seat height and works up to a 17″ maximum depth.

• Optional Vacuum Pump: Every Shayz includes a vacuum valve. The vacuum pump allows the user to set Shayz on the tanning ledge (see maximum pool depths above). Then attach the pump hose to the port on the vacuum valve and pump for 1 to 2 minutes until water begins to eject from the pump. This pump action draws air out of the Shayz core and water is drawn into the Shayz core through multiple openings on the bottom of the lounger. This action keeps water in the core due to the vacuum pressure and adds extra ballast weight to Shayz to make it more resistant to movement from wave and wind action.
