The Raypak 206A Millivolt Natural Gas 199,500 BTU 0-2K Ft. Elevation Pool Heater is the perfect choice to help get more enjoyment out of your pool by extending the pool season. Your pool is always ready when you have a Raypak on duty. The Raypak gas heater has a polyester-coated, non-corrosive cabinet that is more durable than solvent-borne and waterborne-coated metal cabinets. Wind-Resistant Design actually protects itself from the things that tend to stifle ordinary pool and spa heaters. The millivolt ignition system does not require external power. It generates its’ own current internally, with a small thermocouple driven by the constant pilot. This design allows you to be able to position your heater without having a connected electrical power supply giving you more options.

Understanding the Raypak

The Raypak comes standard with a Unitherm Governor, which is a patented 3-way valve built in the header that helps reduce condensation from low inlet water temperatures. It automatically regulates the water flow to help keep the water temperature in the heat exchanger above 105°F. Both water temperature and water flow rate are controlled to eliminate condensation, sooting, and scale build-up that can shorten heater life.
