The Pentair 154578Z is an OEM air relief strainer manufactured for Triton II, Triton C, and Triton C-3 commercial fiberglass sand filters built before November 1, 1999. With a compact 1¼″ diameter × 7⁄8″ height, it inserts into the air relief tube to prevent sand from clogging during backwash cycles and allows clear airflow, preserving filter efficiency.
