The Nidec AVSS3 Variable Speed Square Flange Motor is a programmable, high efficiency pool pump motor designed to be an easy, drop-in field replacement that can be wired with minimal or no modifications. System control changes are not required.

Variable speed pumps allow you to program your pump to run at different speeds throughout the day so you achieve optimum flow at the lowest possible energy expenditure. This variable speed motor bolts right onto your existing pump housing and you start saving up to 90% immediately. EcoTech motors are energy efficient with a low amp draw, super quiet, and easy to program. They feature easy drop in installation with no complex wiring, a built-in programmable user interface with timer, freeze sensor, vacuum override and total enclosed fan cooling (TEFC)
