The Leisure Time Sodium Bromide establishes an immediate bromide reserve in the spa. Applications: Start-Up: 1. Add 1/2-ounce per 100 gallons of spa water to establish a 30 ppm bromide reserve. 2. Add Brom Tabs to establish a bromine level. 3. Repeat steps 1-2 when spa is drained and refilled. Tips: Leisure Time Sodium Bromide is NOT a disinfectant. It is used to establish a reserve of bromide in spa or hot tub water. It is necessary to use a sanitizer to disinfect the water. When used with Leisure Time Brom Tabs, the disinfection of the spa will be completely bromine-based and chlorinous odors will not exist.
