The Lamotte 6915A-M pH Phenol Red Tablet allows users to dispense a tablet into a small vial by pressing the tablet through the foil.

Phenol red is a water-soluble dye used as a pH indicator which shows color changes such as yellow to red over pH 6.6 to 8.0 and then turning a bright pink color above pH 8.1. With this method, phenol red can be very useful as a pH indicator dye not only in various medical and cell biology tests but also in testing the pH level of your pool water.
