ASME/ANSI tested, approved and is a complete main drain set. VGB anti-entrapment complete main drain has 1-1/2-inch FIP bottom plug pipe size. Measures 7-7/8-inch diameter. Available in white color.

    I’ve seen several other main drains on the internet for much cheaper, but I decided the hole at the bottom of my pool needed a quality product. This Hayward main drain is anything but flimsy. The lower casing is almost 3/4″ thick all around. The cap has closely packed, thick fins that will take more pressure to break than the normal weight of someone stepping on it while enjoying the pool. I installed it per the instructions and I have found no leaks. As for Pool Warehouse, they had it available, shipped it quickly and sent me multiple updates to the delivery status. The price was extremely reasonable for the product and quick service provided.
