The Franklin Electric 599030 discharge adapter allows for use with a standard 3/4-inch garden hose with utility and sump pumps. It is made of polypropylene and is rust resistance. It works with any pumps that have a 1-inch FNPT discharge. Please note: when using the adapter performance will be reduced by approximately 15% compared to using the pump with 1-inch piping.
