How the Technology Works

Clear Comfort’s patented Hydroxyl-Based Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) system uses a simple 3 step process:
Step 1: Air Goes Into the System
From ambient air, Oxygen (O2) is pulled into the system through the side vent. No water ever passes through the system.
Step 2: O2 Converts Into O1
In the system, a unique & patented Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP), treats O2 and converts it into Atomic Oxygen (O1).
Step 3: O1 and Water Form Hydroxyls
O1 is injected in the plumbing and reacts with the Water (H2O) to form high concentrations of hydroxyl radicals (OH-). Hydroxyls rapidly destroy unwanted contaminants in the main line.
With fast-acting hydroxyl radicals (OH-), Clear Comfort’s AOP pool and spa sanitation instantly destroys the toughest contaminants without any harmful chemicals or additives, & leaves behind no unhealthy by-products.
