The APC KA0021 Hardware Kit is a precision-engineered accessory kit designed to provide the fastening hardware required for secure installation of flush-track systems. Intended for use in concrete or masonry applications, the kit supports the reliable anchoring of track assemblies in swimming-pool covers, submerged housings or similar flush-mount installations. According to the installation instructions, during the flush track system setup one is instructed to “locate kit KA-0021 and insert each track screw into the red anchors by twisting the track screw into the red anchor.”

Because installations of flush tracks demand both robust anchoring and flush-to-deck tolerances, the KA0021 hardware kit is positioned by APC as a critical component to ensure the long-term stability and alignment of the track system. The concept behind the kit is to furnish installers with matching screws and red anchor assemblies that permit the track to be fastened into the substrate (typically concrete) so that the top of the screw sits about ¼″ above (or flush) with the track profile, minimizing any interference or protrusion that could damage the traveling webbing or rope system.
