Activate Glass Sand Filter Media – Grade 1 Fine
Activate Glass Sand Filter Media from Pool Warehouse is a permanent filter media that replaces sand, zeolite or crushed glass. It is a sustainable solution for crystal clear water. Used in more than 250,000 pools, It is trusted by industry professionals as the best product for creating clear water and a healthier swimming environment. Activate is also certified by WQA to meet NSF 50 – the industry standard for safe and clean water.
Activate comes in two different grades – Coarse Grade 2 and Fine Grade 1. Coarse goes on the bottom of the filter and Activate Fine is used over the top as a top layer. Once Activate is installed, back-wash the filter 3 times prior to use. Activate is provided in a sealed bag and ready for use. Follow the sand filter manufacturer’s instructions for filling the filter with sand and follow the steps below to determine the right amount of Activate for your filter.

Ihave emptied the bag and thrown it away so i can no longer provide pictures. I do appreciate that you sent the filter sand out in such a timely manner.
The box was delivered with the sand enclosed in another bag because there was a hole in the product bag. The way it was packed shows that it obviously had a hole in the bag before it shipped. I don’t mind an occasional hole, but you could have at least patched it up before shipping it.
I don’t know how much was lost, but I salvaged enough to fill my pool pump and that’s what i needed it for anyway.
